Description
65 mm (approximately 2.5 inches) Rundle Rock is a large, angular, and durable landscaping stone, often classified within the 50–90 mm range or referred to as large decorative rock. Its size and fractured shape make it ideal for heavy-duty, functional, and decorative landscaping projects requiring stability.
This rock is commonly used as a long-lasting, low-maintenance ground cover in expansive garden beds. Its weight and angular form make it excellent for stabilizing soil on steep slopes or areas prone to water runoff. It is also ideal for lining ponds, constructing waterfalls, and building dry creek beds. Additionally, it serves as bold, dark-charcoal edging around homes, driveways, and for separating landscape features, and its durability makes it suitable for high-traffic areas.
Although often called washed, these rocks typically retain dust from crushing, quarrying, and transportation. They can be washed before or after spreading or left in place to be naturally cleaned by rainfall over time.
